High stability and protection from wind, thanks to logs machinings in the corners

Easy installation and high steadiness

Roof beams 80 x 160 mm for log cabins with wall thickness 33 mm or thicker

Barge boards 19 cm high to protect ends of roof beams

Pre-treated floor joists 60 x 80 mm for cabins with wall log thickness 33 mm or thicker

Tongue & groove floorboards and roof boards 21 mm

With skirting boards

Single or double doors from laminated timber (cladded from both sides)

Adjustable hinges

Doors and windows are single-glazed, with rubber seals and aluminium handles

Single or double windows with opening or opening/tilting wings

We recommend felt and bitumen shingles as a roof cover material

Standard (non-toughened) glass, sealed with silicone from both sides

NEW: wall logs 28 mm, as well as doors and windows, are available in either Scandinavian spruce or Siberian larch. The rest of the timber elements (posts, roof beams, roof and floor boards etc.) are available only in spruce.

General information

All models can have either apex, hipped, pent, double-pent or flat roof

Turn/tilt windows in door wing are possible (for additional charge)

Straight or waved architraves (please choose when ordering)

Felt and bitumen shingles are recommended as a roof cover material

Possible pre-treatment in BHB wood oil in three different options (Nature, Oak Blonde, Antique Grey)

3-point locks for doors are possible (for additional charge)

Thanks to the post-and-beam construction we achieve a clear composition of horizontal and vertical elements. Our roof shapes offer the possibility to integrate the building into your surroundings. Thanks to our range of doors and windows you can make your building even more unique.

Post-and-beam construction for walls 25/28 mm: posts 10 x 10 cm, for 45 mm: posts 12 x 12 cm, both with tenon joint

Frame construction for walls 25/28 mm: 6 x 10 cm, for 45 mm: 8 x 12 cm, with mortise

Floor boards with skirting boards and joists

Wall elements in different designs

Available roof shapes: apex, pent, double-pent, hipped, flat and flat without roof overhangs (CUBO)

Adjusting the roof construction for roof tiles is possible

Walls can be insulated on site

Wide range of accessories: windows, doors, extensions, shingles, EPDM foil, guttering, rain barrels etc. (optional)

All wooden components of a Cara building can be delivered pre-treated in BHB wood oil (optional)
